The Rise syndicate carp lake

The first of our carp fisheries, the Rise, is a mature 10 acres site with gravelbars, lilly pads and reads with a maximum depth of 20 feet.

The Rise is stocked with 260 quality Carp all of which are doubles. Around 60 of the Carp present are 20 pounds plus and we have around 14 which are over 25 pounds and 10 over the magic 30lb mark.

The lakes biggest resident when last out weighed in at 36LB 4OZ.

The Mill syndicate carp lake

Mill (8) is the second lake it is 8 acres in size and is only just a few years old. Although not as well established as the other two carp lakes it has been extencivly planted with a number of trees, reeds, lilies, its starting to look greener each year, and in very short time it will be a high quality addition to our carp fisheries. We believe that this lake will very soon become on of the best carp lakes around containing many sort after scaly fish.

The Mill Carp lake

The second is the Mill carp fishery and is made up of two carp lakes in sucluded location just off the A12 near great baddow Chelmsford.

Mill (3) is the smaller of the two carp lakes that make up the mill. It is 3 acres in size and is very mature being surrounded by overhanging willow trees, bushes, and lilies, all around its margins ideal for Carp fishing.

Stocking up for Carp fishing at the mill

We have been making great efforts at all 3 of our carp fisheries over the past few years in stocking the lakes. It is our desire to make Essex Carp Syndicates a premire venue for carp fishing in Essex.

We have over 200 fish present In the Mill 8 lake at the moment with more being added each year , they range between 9lb – 28lb 6oz . In the smaller lake the Mill 3 we have over 100 fish and they range between 7lb – 26lb 8oz. The fish present in both carp lakes are of an old English strain (horseshoe orchid strain) and all are very scaly. The lake also contains a good few originals.
